The clip of Richard's jetliner in the clouds is stock footage known from seasons 6 and 7 (compare # 154 and 156). N711AG is the license number (as on Nicole's jet in # 156), which is the plane's real registration. It is a Hawker Siddeley HS.125-600A (built in 1972). Compare # 154 for the source of this footage.
The interiors are filmed in a real jet at the Air Sources at Van Nuys Airport.

Prop: For the scene in Richard's jet, the prop masters specifically created a jigsaw puzzle in the shape of a framed, stylized Tuscany Valley map with all wine estates Richard intends to purchase for the future industrial winery complex of Glenbraddoch. The script suggested showing in a close-up how Richard, during the phone conversation with Kender, inserts a piece of the puzzle — representing Marty Heller Vineyards — into the puzzle. In post-production, however, this close-up was not utilized, which is why the jigsaw puzzle is only recognizable as such with the corresponding information from the script.

The heavily filmed fence on the backlot of CBS-MTM STUDIOS (now RADFORD STUDIO CENTER), which has been in use since # 082 (compare there), portrays the Falcon Crest grounds this episode — near the Winery Building where Lance and Diane come from (giving respect to their last scene in the previous episode, which continues here). This even makes sense, giving respect to # 094 where the fence was visible from the exterior stairway of the Falcon Crest Winery Building lab annex — actually the back of office building 5 at CBS-MTM (RADFORD STUDIO CENTER).
It seems rather mysterious, however, that the same fence was near the Victorian Mansion in # 186.
LORIMAR's original blueprints of this set and many others are available for DFCF members in the Show – Production Office – Filming Locations – Movie Studios – Exterior Sets section.
Originally, the scene with Lance and Diane was staged at a park in Tuscany, and the show's location manager had chosen the grounds of the Los Angeles Valley College in Valley Glen, CA for filming, but these plans changed shortly before filming began.

Mistake: The shots of Angela in the scene with Justin in the Falcon Crest Victorian Mansion dining room are from various takes that were combined in the editing process. This becomes apparent as the position of Angela's head in the wide angle shot is slightly different from the one in the subsequent close-up. Again, this is the typical mistake caused by the particular close-up filming technique — check # 001 (Chase and Maggie at the Gioberti Family Cemetery) for details.

Props: This episode gives away in detail that the desks in the Tuscany Herald office are equipped with computers by the fictional Zeith brand. The logo is basically the same as the one of the real computer manufacturer Zenith, just without the "n". It may have been made to avoid commercial identification since Zenith did not sponsor any product placement in this episode, but it seems awkward to change the name only minimally rather than create a fictional logo for this purpose.

Anna drives a dark blue 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL (type W126). Its license plate number is 2CNI908. This is the same number as on Melissa's Chevrolet Corvette C4 Targa in # 127 and on Vickie's Jeep Wrangler YJ in season 6 — not an appropriate prop policy.

The Tuscany Valley High School is actually the old Campus Center building of the Los Angeles Valley College in Valley Glen, CA (Greater L.A.).
Compare # 188 for a different location previously portraying the Tuscany Valley High School.

The street near the Tuscany Valley High School where Anna and Ben are followed by Gianni Cellini's henchmen (first segment) is near CBS-MTM STUDIOS (now RADFORD STUDIO CENTER) on Colfax Avenue, in the block between Moorpark Street and Sarah Street where the Walter Reed Middle School is located. The distinct apartment building (screen grab 1) is street number 4521. The cars are filmed on this street multiple times, actually driving back and forth the same section.

The second segment of the car chase — more streets near the Tuscany Valley High School — is filmed on streets on and around the premises of the Los Angeles Valley College. The place where Anna stops Salvatore, in particular, is at the corner of Hatteras Street (Anna turns right) and Ethel Avenue (cars stop).

Different camera angles in the sneak preview and the scene itself: In the conversation between Pilar and Richard at his New Globe office, the sneak preview shows a shot towards Richard (left screen grab), but the scene itself features a shot towards Pilar during the same part of their dialog.

The filming location for the bar in Tuscany where Tommy picks up Kelly is what actually used to be The Subway, a diner right across the main entrance of CBS-MTM STUDIOS (RADFORD STUDIO CENTER) in Studio City, CA (nowadays a different restaurant). For a previous use of this location, compare # 176.

Nick now drives the gray Jeep Wrangler YJ Frank used to drive. Its license plate number, however, now is: 2THI524.

Ben now drives a red 1987 Chrysler LeBaron convertible (Anna's present).
The car has no official license plate yet, but only a temporary sign from the Tuscany car dealership, Crumrine Motors (fictional entity).

Mistake: The close-ups of Pilar and Lance at the ice cream parlor on Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco are from various takes that were combined in the editing process. This becomes apparent when Pilar's left hand is in different positions in subsequent frames. Again, this is the typical mistake caused by the particular close-up filming technique — check # 001 (Chase and Maggie at the Gioberti Family Cemetery) for details.

The filming location is the backyard of the heavily filmed writers' building (office building 5) at CBS-MTM (now RADFORD STUDIO CENTER), whose front usually portrays the Tuscany Interstate Bank this season.
LORIMAR's original blueprints of this set and many others are available for DFCF members in the Show – Production Office – Filming Locations – Movie Studios – Exterior Sets section.

The Channing Community Center is the real Mill at CBS-MTM STUDIOS (now RADFORD STUDIO CENTER) where sets and props are manufactured (compare # 083, 141, 154 and 169). The specific area used in this episode is the northwestern corner, which houses the paint shop. It is just decorated with opening banners and a ribbon.

The burgundy Jaguar XJ (Series III) parked in front of the Channing Community Center is the same picture car that was used as Louella's vehicle in # 123 and for another purpose in # 078; compare there for a list of other episodes featuring this picture car.
For LORIMAR's further use of this picture car, check out the Beyond the Show – Props – Picture Cars section.

One of the guests of honor sitting on the podium during the opening of the Channing Community Center is a Tuscany Valley reporter, who previously worked as a cash counter lady at the Coit Café (# 154).
This marks the extra's final apperance on the show. She was featured on various occasions in previous episodes; compare # 149, 151, 154, 158, 167, 174, 181, 182, 183, 188 and 194.

License plate number of Justin Nash's car, a gray 1988 Lincoln Continental: 2LNQ519.

Fictional entity: The Kröger Bank in Zurich / Switzerland is the bank Willi Kender's company, Troilus, uses for its financial transactions.

Season time frame:
This episode continues on the same day where # 194 left off, i.e. Wednesday, 02/22/1989. Giving respect to the episode chronology up to # 199, the current episode must close on Thursday, 03/02/1989. As the episode features three days only, however, one week must remain unseen; this unseen period of time is most likely right before the opening of the Channing Community Center.
