LAUREN BACALL: There had not been any detailed plans for a particular rôle when the negotiations with this renowned actress failed.
This was also the case with MIA FARROW.
 
From this season on, LORIMAR sprayed the surroundings of the Falcon Crest Victorian Mansion (Spring Mountain's Villa Miravalle) with green biodegradable paint to make the vineyards, which were suffering from the summer heat, look lush and fertile.
The wooden elements of the Mansion's exteriors were repainted every year at LORIMAR's expense.
 
Location filming in the Wine Country was done for # 041 through # 052.
As usual, Spring Mountain Vineyards and Stags' Leap Winery are the major filming sites.
