Thank you so much for your holiday wishes. We wish you and Dörthe the same hope you have a happy, healthy 2024.
[...] We have been doing okay. My recovery is coming along although not as quickly as I would like. But we did a lovely cruise on the Scenic Eclipse from Lisbon to Rio in October and spent some time in both cities at either end. In April we are going to Japan for a week and will then sail home on Silversea. We are looking forward to that.

[...] I'm glad the fan club still exists after all these years. Looking back, now that I'm 71, I realize I had a lot more fun with the show than most others I worked on.
I do hope we have a peaceful outcome from 2024. The geopolitics of this world and the unending self interest from our leadership make me long for simpler days. I wish you and yours good health and happiness this holiday season. I'm about to be a grandfather for the first time this April. I think I will be choosing some very good wines to savor while we wait!
