| | Connections between "Falcon Crest" and Other Productions
 (revised 12/23/2021)

Some wine bottles from "Falcon Crest" were reused in other productions, which is a usual process in the entertainment industry because not everything is bought specifically for a production. Below is a particularly striking example of a prop bottle that was prominently reused in another show.

 Wine Bottle "Falcon Crest"
 (season 3):

In # 060 <3.20>, several real wine bottles with the label of Spring Mountain (one of the major filming locations) were featured in the tasting room in the Falcon Crest Winery Building. A particularly striking element on the labels is the ink drawing of the Victorian Mansion. On "Falcon Crest", these props were filmed in a way that the "Spring Mountain" name on the labels remained unseen or illegible.

  | | LORIMAR used on of these bottles on "Knots Landing" in "And Teddy Makes Three" (# 067 <4.14>; original U.S. airdate: 01/13/1983, CBS) in Laura and Richard Avery's kitchen. The "Spring Mountain" lettering is legible on the label here.
