Between 03/01/2022 and 03/01/2024, season 8 was available for streaming on Amazon Freevee (formerly IMDb TV). This season is no longer available though — neither on Freevee nor on Amazon Prime.
The quality in the Amazon Freevee streaming was much better than in TV airings, but varies from episode to episode. No picture remastering was applied, so the picture quality is not as good as the season 3 DVD release.
All season 8 episodes are unedited.
 
All season 8 episodes contain the sneak preview for each following episode (between act 4 and the end credits), introduced by an announcer: "Next on 'Falcon Crest'". Although the footage of the preview is identical with the one presented in the teaser before the main title of the following episode, the music score is different.

After # 192 <8.09> ends, a card with the production number, a post-production date and the keyword "textless elements" is shown.
It is followed by the main title without any superimposed lettering on film except the show's title. After that, all the scenes that usually include superimposed credits are shown without the credits. All these segments have no audio. They were apparently prepared for foreign distribution, so the channels and networks outside the U.S. could add translated credits in their respective languages if needed and replace the usual segments with these parts.
When you compare the usual main title and this version without the names, you will also see that JANE WYMAN's picture frame is in a slightly different position, more towards the top of the frame.
 
There is no information available at this time if and when Amazon will be streaming the series again in the U.S. or in Europe.
