DFCF Meetings with the Stars
DFCF president THOMAS J. PUCHER and his girlfriend, DÖRTHE, met with set costumer KAREN DAVIS and had cocktails and hors-d'œuvre at her place, followed by dinner at the "Café Bizou" in Sherman Oaks. As always, KAREN shared many tidbits from the set as well as news of a private get together of "Falcon Crest" cast and crew members at her house mid-2013, which included SUSAN SULLIVAN, ANA-ALICIA, script supervisor LEE WALKLING and many others. SUSAN SULLIVAN met with DFCF president THOMAS J. PUCHER and his girlfriend, DÖRTHE, at "The Glen Centre", a shopping mall with a little farmers' market on Beverly Glen Circle. Although SUSAN was a bit short of time due to the shooting schedule of her current TV show, "Castle", she kindly squeezed in lunch with THOMAS and DÖRTHE. CHANG, who recently interviewed ANA-ALICIA for his own blog, http://hillplace.blogspot.de, had the idea to reunite ANA-ALICIA and MARY KATE McGEEHAN, who had not seen each other in many years. DFCF president THOMAS J. PUCHER and his girlfriend, DÖRTHE, arranged a dinner with ANA-ALICIA, MARY KATE and SHAUN at the "Ca' del Sole" restaurant. MARY KATE and ANA-ALICIA rekindled their friendship from their days on the set of "Falcon Crest". It was a wonderful reunion with an extraordinarily warm-hearted atmosphere between the five friends. JOANIE DIENER, the "Falcon Crest" music editor, and BILL CONTI, the composer of the show's legendary majestic theme music, met at the annual holiday dinner of the Society of Composers and Lyricists at the "Riviera Country Club". During the gala, BILL received a Lifetime Achievement Award. |
